Nothing happened when I plugged in Rabbit TV

First, check to make sure Rabbit TV isn't already running on your computer. Here's how to check:
Look on the task bar on the bottom of your screen. Do you see a Rabbit TV icon, or one that looks like the image below?

If you do not see this image on your task bar, try unplugging the device and plugging it back in (2-3 times if necessary). If the device still isn't showing up, then follow the instructions below to run Rabbit TV manually.

 Instructions for Windows Users (XP, Vista and Windows 7)
 
  • Click on the Windows Start button at the bottom of your screen. > Select Computer (or My Computer).
     
  • Under Computer on the left side menu, click Run Rabbit TV. This will bring up the Rabbit TV folder. 


     

  • Double-click menu.exe (or Install) > The Rabbit TV Start button should pop up on your screen


     

  • Click Start to launch Rabbit TV. 

    NOTE: If you are having trouble opening Windows Explorer to locate the device, use this keyboard shortcut: (Windows key + E)


     



Instructions for Windows 8 Users
 
  • Drag your mouse to the bottom left-hand corner of your screen and right-click > Select File Explorer

       

     

  • Under Devices with Removable Storage, click on the Rabbit TV icon. This will bring up the Rabbit TV folder. 

     
     

  • Double-click menu > The Rabbit TV Start button should pop up on your screen. 

     

  • Click Start to launch Rabbit TV

    NOTE: If you are having trouble opening Windows Explorer to locate the device, use this keyboard shortcut: (Windows key + E)


     


     
Instructions for Mac Users
 
  • Click on Finder in the Mac Dock Bar and select Applications. > You should see Rabbit TV under Devices.

  • Click on the Rabbit TV USB > Select on the Mac folder.
